This evening's cocktail is a rum sour of my own devising. I used Bacardi Dragonberry light rum, Meyers dark rum, tonic water, and a twist of fresh key lime! Over ice, it's delightful! Sante!
Approximately a week and a half ago, I started a small batch of plum wine. The ingredients were simple: two over ripe red plums, sugar, and water, mixed together and now fermenting in a small glass carafe. I remove the cheesecloth covering every day and stir it.
Made a lime juice and sugar sour mix, added a lime peel and a maraschino cherry and some crushed ice, along with a liberal portion of Bacardi light rum.....the perfect daiquiri! Enjoy!
